Experienced Zoo Veterinarian (permanent, full-time) to provide clinical zoo/wildlife veterinary expertise Auckland Zoo (Auckland, New Zealand)
We are currently seeking an experienced Zoo Veterinarian (permanent, full-time) to provide clinical zoo/wildlife veterinary expertise as a valued member of the Veterinary Services team at Auckland Zoo (Auckland, New Zealand). This vacancy is due to the departure of one of our amazing vets, who has left us after six years, to take up a new role with Massey University’s School of Veterinary Science.
The veterinary team of 10+ zoo professionals are located within Auckland Zoo’s New Zealand Centre for Conservation Medicine and work collaboratively to deliver positive outcomes for Auckland Zoo and for a number of external stakeholders, including the Department of Conservation and the local aquarium.
